Starting in New Austin today folks..
We’ll start in Armadillo for the challenges today. We can get the Red Sage, Badgers and Pronghorns here. Let’s get into it…
Red Sage
Start in Armadillo. Head south out of town past the broken wagon on your left. On the opposite side of the road there is a patch of Red Sage. On the other side of the road, behind the large rock you will find two more patches. That should be enough to get all the plants needed to complete the challenge.
Hunting
The desert around Armadillo is good for hunting. The area just to the west of the train tracks near the town, around where the last ‘S’ in Cholla Springs is on the map, is good for Pronghorns and badgers at night. Hunt until you have three Pronghorn skins and a couple of badger skins.
Finishing off
Blackwater is your nearest barber. You can change your stubble and that counts towards the challenge without drastically changing your look. Then grab your Bow and get the headshots in a Free Roam Event before heading into an Elimination series to finish in the top three. That’ll do it for today…

1 PLACE TOP 3 IN ELIMINATION SHOWDOWN – Load into an Elimination match either through the Quickjoin menu or the main menu. Play a match from lobby to lobby and try and place in the last 3. If you suck at PvP HIDE!
1 PLAYER HEADSHOT WITH A BOW IN FREE ROAM EVENTS – Free Roam events happen every 45mins. Make sure you’re in a free roam lobby when one is due to start. Equip your bow and wait for an invite. Join the event then get a headshot kill with your Bow.
5 PRONGHORNS SKINNED – Pronghorn deer can be found across the west of the map from New Ausin up through West Elizabeth and in western New Hanover. My go to spot is the desert south of Tumbleweed. Find em, shoot em and skin em
5 RED SAGE PICKED – Red sage can be found in New Austin. North of Fort Mercer is a good spot or try by the side of the main road south out of Armadillo.
