Starting in New Austin today folks..
We’ll start in Armadillo for the challenges today. We can grab the Wild Feverfew and Prairie Poppies Then go find Sean and rats. Let’s get into it…
Wild Feverfew
Start in Armadillo. Cross the railway line behind the water tower and just before you get to a small rock there is a patch of Wild Feverfew. Pick them then head south along the railway line until you find another patch. Pick those then head due west if you need to get more. There are two more patches and that should be more than enough to complete the challenge.
Prairie Poppies
There are lots of patches of Prairie Poppies between Armadillo and LAke Don Julio. Look on your map for the ‘S’ in the word Austin and there is two patches just under the letter, slightly to the left. Pick those then there are more along the ridge. Just follow it round and to the south and you will spot them.
Rats
You can find rats in Armadillo but in my experience they don’t reliably spawn in. You can get rats at Thieves Landing or the Shack at Aurora Basin. So head there depending on where Sean is. If you still have no luck then go to the cave behind Elysian pool near Van Horn.
Sean Mission
Open your map and look for Sean. He will either be in Tall Trees or near Quaker’s Cove. Travel over and speak with him and accept and complete a mission. If one is available with enemies then select that and aim high to shoot the hats off.
Finishing off
Hunt the flying birds and pop on a mask using the horse menu. If you need to, you can complete the hats shot off by lassoing people off their horses and shooting the hats off them when they become hostile. That will do it for today…

1 MASKS WORN – You will need to have purchased a mask from Madam Nazar when they were available. Once you have one equip it by visiting a wardrobe or by using the item wheel on your horse. Some people have reported success with a Bandana, so try that.
3 NON-PLAYER HATS SHOT OFF – Aim High! Story missions, resupply missions, bounty missions or sell missions are good for this. anything with plenty of NPC enemies. Shoot for the head and try to aim as high as you can to take their hats off.
5 PRAIRIE POPPIES PICKED – Prairie Poppies can be found in The Great Plains. Between the House and Flat Iron Lake as you head south out of Blackwater is my go to spot.
3 RATS COLLECTED – The cave behind the waterfall at Elysian Pool is my go to place for rats. It’s up near Annesburg.
1 SEAN MACQUIRE MISSIONS COMPLETED – Sean Macquire can be found near Quaker’s Cove in the Great Plains or in Tall Trees. Ride to him, accept and complete the mission he gives you.
5 WILD FEVERFEW PICKED – Wild Feverfew is found in New Austin the desert North of Armadillo is a great spot to pick up all 5
