Starting in Ambarino today folks..
We’ll start in Wapiti for the challenges today. We’ll head to Cotorra Springs and hunt wolves, then go south to Lemoyne to fish. Let’s Get into it…
Cotorra Springs
Start in Wapiti. Ride down to Cotorra Springs and trigger the visit. There is a pack of wolves that live nearby. Chances are they will attack you on the way from Wapiti to Catorra but if they don’t, have a look around and you might spot them. You can always load up the Wolf Man bounty mission if you are struggling to find wolves in free roam.
Longnose Gar
Longnose Gar can only be found in the swamps of Lemoyne. My favourite spot to catch them is the boot shaped pond next to the Voodoo Shack. The one between the railway and the Kamassa River. Use eagle eye to spot one and a swamp lure to target it and you’ll have the challenge done in no time.
Finishing off
Photograph your horse then posse up and get the Herb picking and the headshots in Posse Vs out of the way. Then accept a Call to Arms and survive a wave. That will do it for today…

1 HERB PICKING CONTEST COMPLETED – Herb picking contests are accessed in the Posse Versus menu. Form or join a posse and have the leader start the contest.
1 LONGNOSE GAR CAUGHT – Head to Lemoyne, The pond between ‘Kamassa River’ and ‘Bayou’ on the map has them in. The Swamp Lure is best and they are supposedly more active in overcast conditions.
1 PHOTOGRAPH YOUR HORSE – Get your camera (the original works fine) out and take a snap of your equine companion. You may have to be a few steps back and have the horse centre frame to get it to register.
3 PLAYER HEADSHOT KILLS IN POSSE VERSES – Start or join a Posse and have the leader start a Posse Versus match such as Posse infighting. Kill your friends with headshots.
VISITED COTORRA SPRINGS – Simply visit Cotorra Springs. It’s to the North of Cumberland Forest. Easy Gold, well worth the trip!
1 WAVES COMPLETED IN CALL TO ARMS – Go into your satchel and tab over to the Documents page. Open your Telegrams then accept a Call to Arms. Survive at least one wave of enemies.
3 WOLVES KILLED – Wolves ambush you at certain points on the map. The ambushes are more common at dawn and dusk. Scratching Post, NA, is my go to spot. Also try Tall Trees or Big Valley. You can also try the Wolf Man bounty if you have access to it.
