Starting in New Hanover today folks..

We’ll start in Valentine again for the challenges today. We’ll head to Cumberland Falls for some fishing then into Big Valley to pick herbs and hunt Elk. Let’s Get into it…

Cooked Seasoned Succulent Fish

Start in Valentine then head to the pool below Cumberland Falls. There is good Salmon Fishing here. Target them with a special spinner or Special River Lure. When you catch them, break them down to get the fish meat. We will cook them on the campfire at Hanging Dog Ranch when we get there.

Violet Snowdrops

Head up to where the words Wallace Station are on the map. Above the ‘A’ in Wallace, between the ‘T’ and ‘A’ in station and also next to the last ‘N’ is where you will find Violet Snowdrops. That should get you all five plants, if not there is another patch next to the ruins behind Harriet.

Wild Mint

Head to the road that runs along the north bank of Little Creek River. Before you get to the turn off for Walters Cabin there are three patches of wild mint. There are also some near the word ‘River’ on the map. Plenty of chances to pick all five plants needed for the challenge.

Oregano

There are three patches of oregano between the roads where the word ‘Little’ is on the map. Two are in a straight line down from the ‘i’ and the third patch is to the west of them. Plenty of plants here and you should get all five for the challenge.

Elk

The area to the north of the river is full of Elk. There is plenty of change to get three of them whilst picking herbs. IF you are really struggling then follow Little Creek River right up to the source. You will find some there too.

Finishing off

Use the campfire at Hanging dog ranch to season and cook the succulent fish collected earlier. THen it’s into a Free Roam Event or two and the Posse Vs kills to get. That will do it for today…
