Starting in New Hanover today folks..
We’re starting in New Hanover today folks. We’ll start in Valentine, check for Roosters, Jump on a horse and collect the Bay Bolletes. Let’s Get into it…
Roosters
Start in Valentine. Use the campfire near the butcher to cook the provisions. If you are lucky there will be a Rooster in the yard of the auction. Make sure to jump onto your horse from one of the buildings around town before killing and skinning the Rooster. Head West out of town once you have. If you can’t find a rooster here, then check the pen at Emerald Ranch, outside Mama Watson’s shack next to Little Creek River or up at Fort Wallace.
Bay Bolete
There is a patch of Bay Bolete between the ‘E’ and the ‘N’ in the word Valentine on the map. There is another below the ‘L’ as you head towards Lucky’s Cabin. Then there is another patch just to the west of the cabin. There should be enough to get you five plants from these three spots.
Help Someone in Need
If you follow the road from Lucky’s Cabin to the west there is a rescue on the road. There are also two animal rescues around Caliban’s Seat. It’s just pot luck if these spawn or not so hopefully you will get lucky. Rescue the person in need.
Finishing off
That just leaves the PvP. Equip your revolvers and your throwing weapons then load into a showdown series and get the kills. That will do it for today…

1 HELPED SOMEONE IN NEED – These are the dynamic events that happen in free roam such as Rescues, Kiddnappings and escorts. Saint Denis and the surrounding area are good spots to try and find one. This is a tough one though. Total RNG.
1 JUMPED ONTO A HORSE FROM 3M HEIGHT – Find a ledge or rooftop that you can climb up to and can also place your horse below. Climb up and jump down, landing on your horse.
3 PLAYER KILLS WITH A REVOLVER IN SHOWDOWNS – Pick your favorite revolver and head into a Showdown series. You’ll need to be in the lobby before the match starts for the kills to count and remember, pistols and revolvers are different!
3 PLAYER KILLS WITH THROWING WEAPONS IN SHOWDOWNS – Shootout or Takeover Series seem to work best. You have to be in a Lobby before the game starts for kills to count towards the challenge. Remember, Dynamite counts as a throwing weapon.
5 PROVISIONS COOKED AT CAMPFIRE – Find a fire, cook anything from the “provisions” tab on the craft/cook menu. This one is easy gold!
2 ROOSTERS SKINNED – Emerald Ranch has a Rooster in the goat pen near the fence swap lobbies if it’s not there. A quieter spot is on the farmstead on Little Creek River just West of Wallace Station
