Starting in West Elizabeth today folks..
We’re starting in Blackwater for today’s daily challenges. We’ll get the Thyme, go fishing and then hunt some Rams and Seagulls.. Let’s Get into it…
Creeping Thyme Picked
Start in Blackwater. Head to the western edge of the town. There is a patch of Creeping Thyme on the ‘T’ of the word Blackwater on the map. There are also patches just below the ‘B’ and on the second ‘E’ of Elizabeth. Pick five plants from these spots.
Lake Sturgeon
Head along the road that leads south out of Blackwater. Follow it past the last few houses and you will see a white fence. The fence bends round down towards the lake. There is a little cove there that has Lake Sturgeon in it. Worms or a lure are best to target them.
Hunting
Continue south towards Thieves Landing. There are Seagulls just before the bridge into the town. There are also sometimes some on the docks. They are only there in daylight hours though so you might need to hang around if its dark. Shoot and pluck two of them.
Once you have the seagulls, head up towards Arora Basin. Right along the cliffs on the edge of the map you can find Rams. They will live you mutton when skinned. Get some mutton then head to the campfire at Manzanita Post to season and cook the mutton.
Finishing off
There ambushes just behind Manzanita Post and near Stillwater Creek. If you are lucky one of them will spawn in. Fend it off then head into the PvP. There is a race to finish and kills from the hip in Showdowns today. That will do it for today…

3 COOKED SEASONED MUTTON – You get mutton from sheep and rams. White hat you can hunt for Desert Rams in NA or there are Rams on the mountain slopes of Ambarino. Or black hat and go to Emerald Ranch at night. Head to a fire and season up that mutton and cook it.
5 CREEPING THYME PICKED – Creeping Thyme grows in thin soil near river banks or in sandy soil the Desert south of Tumbleweed is my go to spot.
1 FINISH RACE IN RACE SERIES – Load in to a race from the Main or Quickjoin menu. Play a race from lobby to lobby to get this one to count.
1 LAKE STURGEON CAUGHT – Hands down the best place to catch these is Flat Iron Lake, particularly the bit South East of blackwater. Worms work well. So do lake lures and the special spinner.
PLAYER KILLS FROM THE HIP IN SHOWDOWNS – Kill a player with a firearm without aiming down the sights. Paint it black and a shotgun make this an easy challenge if you can overcome that muscle memory!
2 SEAGULLS PLUCKED – Gulls can be found mainly across Lemoyne. Saint Denis and Bluewater marsh are good locations to check. There are three types of seagulls and all count. You can also find them around the shores of Flat Iron Lake
1 SUCCESSFULLY FENDED OFF AN AMBUSH – Ambushes happen randomly at certain points around the map. Ride past a spot and hope it triggers. Check out the excellent work of u/thirdlegacy red_dead_online_event_map_ver2
