Starting in New Hanover today folks..
We’re starting in Blackwater for today’s Daily Challenges. Use the wardrobe in the store to change your buckle, then hunt Geese and fish on the Dakota. Let’s Get into it…
Hunting and Fishing
Blackwater is the nearest Fast Travel Post to where we will be hunting and fishing. Ride north round the headland to the mouth of the Dakota River under Bard’s Crossing. There are usually some Geese sat on the water. Shoot the water and wait for them to fly over land before shooting and skinning them. This is also a good fishing spot so catch the ten fish here too..
Visit a Shop in Tumbleweed
Ride back to Blackwater and travel to Tumbleweed. Use the wardrobe at the back of the store to change your belt buckle..
Enemies Lassoed
The folks around these parts are tough. Look on the roads outside the town for a lone traveler and lasso him off his horse. Release him and he’ll be angry. Wait for him to turn red and then lasso him again. You can torment the same poor fella if you wait a few seconds between releasing and roping him again. Or you can deal with him and find another poor soul to torment.
Finishing off
Join a Free Roam Event and jab your horse with tonics. Try and get into the top three of the event. That will do it for today…

Quick Guides
1 BELT BUCKLE UPDATED – Head to a wardrobe and change your belt buckle. Wardrobes can be found at Tailors, in the back of General Stores and your Tent at camp. I’ve heard you can swap outfits on your horse if you have different buckles on them but never works for me.
10 FISH CAUGHT – The fishing rod is unlocked at rank 14 or you can buy it with gold. Get the rod and head to your favourite fishing spot. Fish have to be caught with the rod, collected ones don’t count
2 GEESE SKINNED – Geese can be found flying overhead in New Hanover and Lemoyne. Try near Bards Crossing or Heartland Overflow. Dusk and Dawn seem to be good times for them to be flying over head.
2 HORSE TONICS USED – Craft, collect or buy two horse tonics and then use them by accessing the tonics on your weapon wheel and tabbing across to the horse menu
5 NON-PLAYER ENEMIES LASSOED FROM HORSEBACK – Lasso NPCs whilst sat on your horse. I find this easiest to do during resupply missions or camp defences. Gold Health Core’s help as you get shot a lot. The Lawmen in Saint Denis count too.
PLACE TOP 3 WITH A SCORE IN FREE ROAM EVENTS – Free roam events occur every 45mins. make sure you’re in a free roam lobby when one is due to start to be invited. Join an event, play the objective to score points and try to finish in the top 3. Bit of a time gate on this challenge.
VISITED A SHOP IN TUMBLEWEED – Simply head down to Tumbleweed in New Austin and go to one of the shops or the butchers. Easy Gold!
