Starting in New Hanover today folks..
We’re starting at Emerald Ranch for today’s Daily Challenges. We can get the Alpine Goats then head west to get bulls. Let’s Get into it…
Alpine Goats
Start off at Emerald Station. Ride over to the ranch and check the pen next to the barn with the chicken coup. There should be a goat or two in there. Kill and Skin them. If you wait until after dark you won’t attract any attention or get the law after you.
Bulls Skinned
There is a bull at Carmody Dell, near the Oil Fields. There is a bull in the paddock behind the farm. Shoot and skin it. You can either swap sessions and try to get the same bull again or head to Hill Haven Ranch in Lemoyne.
NPC Dragged from Horseback
If you choose to ride down to Hill Haven Ranch, make sure to aggravate a lone traveller on the way. Rope him off his horse and then release him. That’s usually enough to get them mad and turn them into enemies. Rope them again and slowly drag them behind you for the distance needed.
Animals Stowed on Horseback
Hunt a couple of animals. You can either store different animals on horseback or the sides of your saddle or you can simply swap two animals over and over. Just wait a little while in between and you’ll get the five.
Finishing off
Use the Horse menu to put your mask on, Posse Up and do the fishing contest then shoot NPCs hats off. You can do this by aiming high on a mission or lasso NPCs off their horses and hogtie them. You can then shoot their hats off. That will do it for today…

2 BULLS SKINNED – The best place to find bulls is either at the farm North of Heartlands oil field or the farm East of Mattock Pond. Kill em and skin em to get the gold!
DISTANCE NON-PLAYER ENEMY DRAGGED FROM HORSEBACK – Easiest way to do this one is to aggravate a lone local who is riding his horse. When the red dot appears on the mini map, rope him and drag him the distance
1 MASKS WORN – You will need to have purchased a mask from Madam Nazar when they were available. Once you have one equip it by visiting a wardrobe or by using the item wheel on your horse. Some people have reported success with a Bandana, so try that.
3 NON-PLAYER HATS SHOT OFF – Aim High! Story missions, resupply missions, bounty missions or sell missions are good for this. anything with plenty of NPC enemies. Shoot for the head and try to aim as high as you can to take their hats off.
