Starting in New Hanover today folks..
We’re starting in Valentine for the Daily Challenges today. There are Pigs and Blackberries nearby, then we need to go to Lemoyne for Egrets. Let’s Get into it…
Blackberries
Start off in Valentine. There are blackberry bushes just out to the west of the town. If you look at the word Valentine on the map, there are bushes on the rocks near Lucky’s Cabin, Directly below the ‘V’ and ‘L’. There are more bushes below the ‘N’ and above it, near the path. Pick or eat five Blackberries to complete the challenge.
Cooked Seasoned Pork
Sometimes there are Pigs in the pen next to the barn between the ‘T’ and the ‘I’ in Valentine. You can also check behind the Sheriff’s office and at the market. If you can get some pork here, use the campfire near the butcher to season and cook it. Don’t spend too long though as we need to go to Lemoyne anyway and we can get pork from wild boar there.
Egrets
Bluewater Marsh, the swamps of Lagras and the islands near Shady Belle are all great places to hunt for Egrets. The area between the Kamassa River and the Railway Line in the west of Bayo Nwa is good too. Find, shoot and skin one to complete the challenge.
Steelhead Trout
The river south of Braithwaite Manor or Flat Iron Lake, next to the northernmost island are both good fishing spots for Steelheads. Use worms or the special river lure and you’ll catch them.
Finishing off
Check the map and try to trigger an ambush. The one in Bayou Nwa that is on the stretch of road that runs next to the Kamassa is a good place. It triggers for me fairly often but only at night. Fend off the ambush from cover then clean your guns with gun oil. That will do it for today…

5 BLACKBERRIES PICKED – West and South West of Valentine is my go to spot for Blackberries. There are 2 bushes near the lone building under the word ‘Valentine’ on the map. One under and one above the N and one above the T.
3 COOKED SEASONED PORK – Pork can be got from Pigs and Boar. Both are common in the wild all over the map, especially at night. Boar can often be found in Bluewater Marsh & Scarlett meadows. For Pigs try Cholla Springs. Then head to a fire, season up that pork and cook it up.
1 EGRETS SKINNED – Egrets can be found in Lemoyne, particularly along the banks of the Kamassa River. Try in the bend near the ‘B’ of Bayou NWA
5 NON-PLAYER ENEMIES KILLED FROM COVER – Story missions, bounty missions, resupply missions, sell missions. Find cover, kill enemies. Also try Thieves Landing to do it in free roam.
3 STEELHEAD TROUT – Steelhead trout can be found in the southern rivers. Worms or special river lure are best to use. Just near the island at Scratching Post in New Austin is a fantastic location.
1 SUCCESSFULLY FENDED OFF AN AMBUSH – Ambushes happen randomly at certain points around the map. Ride past a spot and hope it triggers. Check out the excellent work of u/thirdlegacy red_dead_online_event_map_ver2
3 WEAPONS CLEANED WITH GUN OIL – Gun oil can be purchased in shops or looted from various places and NPCs. Highlight a dirty weapon in the weapon wheel and click the right thumbstick in. Select clean weapon.
