Starting in New Hanover today folks..
We’ll start at Manzanita Post for the Daily Challenges. We can hunt badgers and elk here before heading to Blackwater for some free coffee. Let’s Get into it…
Hunting
Start off at Manzanita Post. There are Elk in Tall Trees so hunt and skin three of them. The northern part of the woods is the best place to find them. Also keep an eye out for badgers if you need an animal claw to sell for later.
Coffee Drank
There is a camp just behind the stables in Blackwater. Next to the campfire is a coffee pot where you can get free coffee. Pour yourself three cups and drink them.
Claws and Items Sold
Head to the Butcher in Blackwater and sell the animal claw you collected earlier. Head over to Gus near Bard’s Crossing and sell 5 other items you have collected.
Train Clerk Mission
Look on your map for the nearest Train Clerk Mission. They are strangers at railway stations. There is usually one at Valentine station but they do move. Talk with them, accept and complete the mission,. If you get a mission with enemies, don’t forget to go into dead eye to get the kills.
Finishing off
Now all that’s left to do is eat some dried food (biscuits, crackers etc). That will do it for today…

Quick Guides
1 ANIMAL CLAWS SOLD – Bears and Badgers will all give Claws. Take the claw to a butchers and sell it. I’ve heard Talons also count!
3 CUPS OF COFFEE DRUNK – Coffee can be looted or bought from the store. Head to a fire to brew it and then drink! If you’re anything like me, you need 3 cups in the morning just to get going
5 DRY GOODS EATEN – Dry Goods are things like crackers/biscuits and bread chunks these can be looted or bought from the store. Eat 5 of them, easy gold!
3 ELK SKINNED – Elk can be found at several spots. North Cumberland Forest, Tall Trees, Big Valley, O’Creaghs Run all have Elk. Find em, shoot em and skin em
5 ITEMS SOLD TO GUS – Go to Gus at one of his camps across the map and sell him any items. Pelts, feathers and other animal parts all count towards this. Harriet is gonna be mad at you!
5 NON-PLAYER ENEMIES KILLED WHILE IN DEAD EYE – Enemy NPCs can be found in story missions, dynamic events, and resupply missions. Thieves Landing NPCs also count as Non-player enemies. Activate dead eye and kill 5 of them.
1 TRAIN CLERK MISSIONS COMPLETED – The Train Clerk is one of the strangers who issue free roam missions. He can be found at major railway stations. Simply visit him, accept and complete the mission he gives you.
