Starting in Lemoyne today folks..
We’re starting in Rhodes for today’s challenges. We’ll head to Mattock Pond for the Bluegill, then go hunt some boar and pick some Burdock Roots. Let’s Get into it…
Bluegill
Rhodes is the nearest Fast Travel travel post if you are looking for a starting point. Head to Mattock Pond. The pond looks devoid of life but if you get out your fishing rod, put some cheese on the hook and cast out into the pond then Bluegill will appear. Best part is, that’s all that will appear! So catch five of them before moving on.
Burdock Roots
Ride west to Flat Iron lake. On the shore around Clemens cove there are about four patches of Burdock Root. That’s more than enough to complete the challenge.
Wild Boar and Cooked Pork
Scarlett Meadows and Bolger Glade are both good areas to hunt Boar. Shoot and skin two of them then head to the nearest fire to cook the meat. There is a fire at Hill Haven Ranch, Braithwaite Manor or near the Fence in Rhodes. USe the closest one and season and cook the pork.
Finishing off
Fast Travel to Colter and speak with Sadie. Complete the mission she gives you then grab your bow and shotgun and head into a SHowdown to get the kills. That will do it for today…

Quick Guides
5 BLUEGILL CAUGHT – Bluegill can be found in lakes and rivers all over the map. Cheese is the best bait to catch them with. They like open water and are more active when it’s raining.
2 BOARS SKINNED – Wild Boar are most common in Lemoyne. Try Scarlett Meadows or Bluewater Marsh. Find some, kill them and skin them
5 BURDOCK ROOTS PICKED – Burdock roots can be found by the banks of most northern rivers and lakes. The banks of the Dakota on the stretch just south of Valentine is a good spot to pick up all 5 for the challenge
3 COOKED SEASONED PORK – Pork can be got from Pigs and Boar. Both are common in the wild all over the map, especially at night. Boar can often be found in Bluewater Marsh & Scarlett meadows. For Pigs try Cholla Springs. Then head to a fire, season up that pork and cook it up.
3 PLAYER KILLS WITH A BOW IN SHOWDOWNS – Make sure your Bow is equipped then load into a Showdown series from the quickjoin menu or the main menu. Dynamite arrows count. You must be in lobby before the match starts for the kills to count. Takeover and Shootouts are most reliable
3 PLAYER KILLS WITH A SHOTGUN IN SHOWDOWN – Equip your shotgun then join a Showdown. Weapon of choice is good if you don’t own a shotgun yet. Takeover or Shootout series are most reliable for registering kills. You will need to be in the lobby beforehand for the kills to count
SAIDE ADLER MISSIONS COMPLETED – Saidie Adler can be found in the Adler shack up in the Grizzlies. Fast travel to Colter and ride up to speak to her. Complete the mission she gives you.
