Starting in West Elizabeth today folks..
We’re starting in Blackwater for today’s set of Challenges. Head to the store or Post Office to get candies, pick parasol mushrooms then hunt Wolves in Tall Trees. Let’s Get into it…
Candies Eaten and Fish cooked
Start in Blackwater. Check your deliveries at the Post Office. Candies are often given as rewards for Outlaw Passes and log in bonuses. Collect and eat five of them. If you don’t have any, buy a pack from the shop.
The lake is an obvious spot for fishing. Use dead eye to target pickerels or bass and break them down for Flaky Fish Meat. USe one of the campfires in the yards of the houses on the southern outskirts of Blackwater to season and cook the meat.
Parasol Mushrooms
Jump on a coach or one of your wagons and head out of Blackwater towards Tall Trees. There is a patch of Parasol Mushrooms next to the road above the ‘T’ in Blackwater on the map. There is another patch right above the ‘W’ and then another below the ‘B’ and ‘L’. That should be plenty enough to complete the challenge.
Wolves
There is a pack of wolves that live in the northern half of Tall Trees. Head into the trees and keep an ear out for them. If you are struggling to find them then don’t waste too much time. You can always do the Wolf Man Bounty hunter mission later.
Bison
Head to the Great Plains there is a herd of Bison here. They can usually be found around the ‘L’ of Plains on the map. Shoot and skin two of them to complete the challenge.
Finishing off
Do the Wolf Man bounty if you still need wolf kills and get any further distance needed to complete the wagon challenge. Then it’s into a Showdown to finish a match. That will do it for today…

2 BISON SKINNED – Bison can be found in the Great Plains, West Elizabeth or The Heartlands, New Hanover. Find em, shoot em and skin em.
5 CANDIES EATEN – Candies can be bought from the store or the catalogue for $3. Check your lock box first though, they are often given as rewards. They can also be looted from several places on the map. Eat five of them to complete the challenge.
3 COOKED SEASONED FLAKY FISH – Flaky fish meat can be got by breaking down fish in your satchel. Pickerels, and Bass will give you flaky fish meat when broken down. Pick up some herbs, head to a fire, season and cook to get that gold.
DISTANCE TRAVELLED BY COACH OR WAGON – Get a coach or wagon, your own or a stolen one, and travel the distance required.
1 FINISH A SHOWDOWN IN ANY SHOWDOWN SERIES – Load into a Showdown match from either the main or quick join menu. Play the match through to the end. You may have to go lobby to lobby to get this to register. Shootout or Takeover series work best.
PARASOL MUSHROOM PICKED – Parasol Mushrooms can be found all over. My go to spot is between Valentine and Caliban’s seat. New Austin is a good state for them too if you’re down that way, just keep an eye out. The pig pen at Flatneck Station also has them.
3 WOLVES KILLED – Wolves ambush you at certain points on the map. The ambushes are more common at dawn and dusk. Scratching Post, NA, is my go to spot. Also try Tall Trees or Big Valley. You can also try the Wolf Man bounty if you have access to it.
