Starting in New Hanover today folks..
We’re starting in Valentine for today’s challenges. Blackberry and Wintergreen picking, Fishing at Cumberland Falls and finally a bear hunt. Let’s Get into it…
Blackberries Picked
Start in Valentine. Head west out of town. There are blackberry bushes under and above the ‘N’ in Valentine. There are a couple more near Lucky’s Cabin. One is on the track just as you leave the road, another is just to the right of the cabin.
Succulent Fish Meat
The pool below Cumberland Falls is excellent for Salmon fishing. You can catch and break them down to get succulent fish meat. Use a lure or spinner and you’ll catch them easy. There is a campfire over at Hanging Dog Ranch in the west of Big Valley. Head over there to cook the meat after picking the wintergreen berries and hunting.
Wintergreen Berries and Hunting
Head over to Wallace Station. THe glade where the words are is a great spot for wintergreen berries. Check the ‘T’ and the ‘N’. There is another patch over to the west should you need. There is a bear around here too. Watch he doesn’t sneak up on you whilst your picking the berries. Hunt ducks along the creek until you get to Hanging Dog ranch. You can cook the fish meat collected earlier here.
Finishing off
Posse Up and do the races. Then head up to Colter and Ride to Sadie That will do it for today…

1 BEARS KILLED – Bears can be found in several locations, West of Wallice station is a good spot. So is the Southern end of Tall Trees. Find one and kill it.
5 BLACKBERRIES PICKED – West and South West of Valentine is my go to spot for Blackberries. There are 2 bushes near the lone building under the word ‘Valentine’ on the map. One under and one above the N and one above the T.
COOKED SEASONED SUCCULENT FISH – Succulent fish meat is got from breaking down trout or salmon. Try the channel between the island and the shore South of Scratching post, New Austin for Trout. The pool below Cumberland Falls is a good spot for Salmon. Catch em, break em down, season em up and cook em!
3 DUCKS SKINNED – Mattock Pond just North of Rhodes is my go to place for ducks, but they can be found around most water.
3 POSSE RACES COMPLETED – This is started from the Posse Vs menu. Join or start a posse of more than one player and have the leader startup the races. Complete three of them to tick this one off.
SAIDE ADLER MISSIONS COMPLETED – Saidie Adler can be found in the Adler shack up in the Grizzlies. Fast travel to Colter and ride up to speak to her. Complete the mission she gives you.
5 WINTERGREEN BERRIES PICKED – Cumberland Forest is my go to spot for Wintergreen berries. Above the ‘U’ and above and below the ‘B’ on the map there are patches of berries.
