Starting in West Elizabeth today folks..
We’re starting in Blackwater for today’s challenges. Check the post office for Candies or visit the shop, then a spot of Sturgeon fishing, poppy picking and then terrorizing a local. Let’s Get into it…
Candies Eaten
Start in Blackwater. Check your satchel for candies. If you have five, great! Eat them. If not then check the post office. Candies are often given as rewards for outlaw pass and log in bonuses. If you don’t have any then head to the store and buy a pack.
Prairie Poppies
Head south out of town along. The area between the road and the lake, juston your left past the house as you climb the hill has prairie poppies. There are several patches in that area. Just use dead eye and you will spot them.
Fishing
There is a fantastic Lake Sturgeon fishing spot near here too. Just head south a little further and follow the white fence round. Drop down to the lake and use dead eye to locate the Lake Sturgeon. Use a lure or worms and target one of them.
Non-Player Enemy Dragged From Horseback
Head back up the the road and look out for a lone rider. Lasso him off his horse then release him. Check your mini map and if he turns into a red dot then lasso him again. Drag him behind you until you’ve gone the distance required for the challenge. Don’t have hangman as an ability card and don’t go too fast.
Feathers Sold
There are plenty of birds flying around the Great Plains. Shoot some, pluck them then head to the butcher in Blackwater to sell them.
Finishing off
Play an Elimination Showdown match from start to finish then grab your pistols and head into a Shootout or Takeover series to get the kills needed. That will do it for today…

Quick Guides
5 CANDIES EATEN – Candies can be bought from the store or the catalogue for $3. Check your lock box first though, they are often given as rewards. They can also be looted from several places on the map. Eat five of them to complete the challenge.
DISTANCE NON-PLAYER ENEMY DRAGGED FROM HORSEBACK – Easiest way to do this one is to aggravate a lone local who is riding his horse. When the red dot appears on the mini map, rope him and drag him the distance
FEATHERS SOLD – Sell Feathers at the butchers. Look for any birds, kill em, pluck em and head to the butchers for that Easy Gold!
FINISH SHOWDOWN IN ELIMINATION SERIES – Enter an Elimination match from the start or quick join menus. You will have to be in the lobby before the match starts and play all the way through for this one to count.
1 FISH CAUGHT WEIGHING AT LEAST 5 lbs – Target larger fish such as Pike or Muskies. Medium fish like Steelhead Trout or Largemouth Bass are typically 4 lbs – 6 lbs so you try your luck with them.
3 PLAYER KILLS WITH A PISTOL IN SHOWDOWNS – Load up a showdown, use your pistols to kill three players. Just remember, Revolvers don’t count as pistols.
5 PRAIRIE POPPIES PICKED – Prairie Poppies can be found in The Great Plains. Between the House and Flat Iron Lake as you head south out of Blackwater is my go to spot.
