Starting in West Elizabeth today folks..
We’re starting in Blackwater for today’s challenges. Head up to the mouth of the Upper Montana River for the Burdock Roots and then into the Great Plains for the Prairie Chickens.. Let’s Get into it…
Burdock Roots and Prairie Chickens
Start in Blackwater and head north from the fast travel post. Cross the Upper Montana and then head to the peninsula on the north bank. There are several Burdock Root patches here. Plenty enough to complete the challenge.
From here, ride into the Great Plains. There are Prairie chickens here. Sometimes they are flying above, sometimes they are in the long grass. Just keep your eyes peeled for them. Shoot them and skin three of them to complete the challenge.
Finishing off
Hop on your horse and switch your clothes using the horse menu. Join a posse and have the leader start up Posse Infighting. Get the NPC enemy dead eye kills then head into the free roam events for the kills. That will do it for today…

5 BURDOCK ROOTS PICKED – Burdock roots can be found by the banks of most northern rivers and lakes. The banks of the Dakota on the stretch just south of Valentine is a good spot to pick up all 5 for the challenge
CLOTHING STYLE UPDATED – Head to a wardrobe and change your clothes wardrobes can be found in Tailors and the back of general stores. If you have an outfit stored on your horse, then just swapping outfits is the easiest way to get this one.
MULTIPLE PLAYER KILLS IN 5 SECONDS IN FREE ROAM EVENTS – Free Roam Events start every 45mins. Make sure your in a free roam lobby to be invited. Try and Kill 2 or more players in less than 5 seconds.
5 NON-PLAYER ENEMIES KILLED WHILE IN DEAD EYE – Enemy NPCs can be found in story missions, dynamic events, and resupply missions. Thieves Landing NPCs also count as Non-player enemies. Activate dead eye and kill 5 of them.
3 PLAYER KILLS WITH THROWN WEAPONS IN FREE ROAM EVENTS – Free Roam events happen every 45mins and you need to be in a free roam lobby when one is due to start to be invited. Join one of the PvP events and get kills with thrown weapons. Railroad Baron and Dynamite are a good combo
POSSE INFIGHTING COMPLETED – Join a posse and have the posse leader start posse infighting via the Posse Versus Menu
3 PRAIRIE CHICKENS SKINNED – Prairie Chickens can be found in the Great Plains and The Heartlands, usually flying over head. Shoot 3 of them and skin them.
