Starting in West Elizabeth today folks..

We’ll be starting in Strawberry but riding east to Diablo Ridge and then down to the Dakota River for today’s challenges. Let’s get into it…

Rams Head

Starting from the Fast Travel Post in Strawberry, head east towards Diablo Ridge. There is a patch of Ram’s Head on the ‘B’ in Diablo. There is another patch just south of the gap between the words. This should be enough to get all five plants.

Steelhead Trout

Drop down to the Dakota River. There are Steelheads in the stretch of water between Bard’s Crossing and Limpany. There are also Largemouth Bass here so use dead eye to pick out the trout, then use the special spinner of the special river lure to catch them.

Items Sold to Gus

Gs can be found just near Riggs Station. Pick off a few birds and pluck the feathers on the way to visit him. Sell the feathers, or whatever else you can to him.

Help Someone in Need

I find beggars are the most reliable spawns for this challenge. Head to Blackwater and look out for white blips on the minimap. Give them some money to complete the challenge. You can also try riding towards Caliban’s seat. There are a couple of animal attacks that spawn in there. Rescue the person from the animals and that will also count towards the challenge.

Finishing off

Check your satchel or deliveries at the post office for canned food. If you don’t have any just buy some from the shop in Blackwater and eat them. Do a moonshine, resupply, or any other mission and get the NPC kills in dead eye before heading into a takeover showdown. That will do it for today…

5 CANNED FOOD EATEN – Canned food such as canned peaches or canned beans can be bought from the store or looted from various locations all over the map. Get 5 of them and eat them. Easy gold!

1 HELPED SOMEONE IN NEED – These are the dynamic events that happen in free roam such as Rescues, Kiddnappings and escorts. Saint Denis and the surrounding area are good spots to try and find one. This is a tough one though. Total RNG.

5 ITEMS SOLD TO GUS – Go to Gus at one of his camps across the map and sell him any items. Pelts, feathers and other animal parts all count towards this. Harriet is gonna be mad at you!

5 NON-PLAYER ENEMIES KILLED WHILE IN DEAD EYE – Enemy NPCs can be found in story missions, dynamic events, and resupply missions. Thieves Landing NPCs also count as Non-player enemies. Activate dead eye and kill 5 of them.

PLACE TOP 3 IN TAKEOVER SHOWDOWN – Takeovers are a group of PvP game modes and can be accessed through the main or quick join menus. Load into the series and try and place in the top 3

5 RAM’s HEAD PICKED – Ram’s head can be found in Cumberland forest. Check along the cliffs to the west of the forest.

3 STEELHEAD TROUT – Steelhead trout can be found in the southern rivers. Worms or special river lure are best to use. Just near the island at Scratching Post in New Austin is a fantastic location.
