Starting in New Austin today folks..

Tumbleweed is the place to start today’s challenges. We can get the Desert Sage and Venison before heading to Bard’s Crossing for the Geese. Let’s get into it…

Tumbleweed

Start in Tumbleweed. Call in your hunting wagon if you have one. Ride south out of town. Down at the bottom of the hill where the roads meet there are two patches of Desert Sage. That should be more than enough to complete the challenge. Pick five plants then head towards Benedict Point.

Hunt some Pronghorns on the way to get venison meat. Solomon’s Folly is just south of the station. There is a campfire there you can use to cook the venison.

Bard’s Crossing

Geese can be found in the water. Check under the bridge on the water. They also fly overhead in flocks. If they are on the water, shoot the water first and then pick them off as they fly over land. Otherwise they can wash into deep water and you can’t pluck them.

There is a great spot for an ambush here too. The west bank of the Dakota is a spawn point. Ride back and forth a couple of times between the bridge and Limpany and see if it spawns in.

Finishing Off

For the train Clerke missions, you just have to look on the map and find one. They are at various stations around the map. Wallace Station and Valentine are some of the more frequent locations, well for me at least. That just leaves the kills from the hip in showdown. If you didn’t get the full distance on the wagon earlier then that will need finishing off. . That will do it for today…
