Starting in West Elizabeth today folks.. 

This is going to be a rough day for solo players but if you have a Posse you play with then it’s a breeze. Blackwater is a good place to start for the PvE challenges so let’s get into it…

Coffee and Beer

Head to the saloon in Blackwater and order 5 beers or whiskeys. If you don’t want to get drunk then you can just drop them and order another one and it still counts towards the challenge. There is free coffee at the camp behind the post office in Blackwater too. Just walk up to the fire, pour yourself a cup and drink it. 

Channel Catfish

Channel Catfish are the large Catfish found in and around the swampy waters of Lemoyne. A Swamp lure is really needed for these and you will struggle to catch one with natural baits. They are very easy to spot due to their size and distinctive shape so just head to any fishing spot, get your rod out and equip dead eye. You will see them right away if they are there. If you’re struggling though, the area where the train tracks fork over the water North of Saint Denis is a reliable spot for them. Catch one to complete the challenge.   

Posse Vs and PvP

That just leaves the Posse Vs and the Showdown kills to do. You can revive your Posse members, just have one punch your horse and it will kick them in the head, downing them. Just revive them three times for the challenge. You can also try shooting them in the leg with a Cattleman Revolver but depending on player level and ability cards this sometimes just results in death.

1 BIRD SHOOTING CONTEST COMPLETED – Bird shooting contests can be triggered by a posse leader in the Posse Vs Menu. Join a Posse and have the leader start the contest.

1 CHANNEL CATFISH CAUGHT – Channel Catfish are the large catfish that can be found in the Swamps of Lemoyne. Use a swamp lure for the best results. Natural baits don’t really work. The spot where the traintracks cross the water north of Saint Denis is an excellent spot for them.

3 CUPS OF COFFEE DRUNK – Coffee can be looted or bought from the store. Head to a fire to brew it and then drink! If you’re anything like me, you need 3 cups in the morning just to get going

5 DRINKS ORDERED AT A SALOON – Walk into a saloon, order 5 drinks. Easy as that.

PLAYER KILLS FROM THE HIP IN SHOWDOWNS – Kill a player with a firearm without aiming down the sights. Paint it black and a shotgun make this an easy challenge if you can overcome that muscle memory!

3 PLAYERS REVIVED – The easiest way to complete this challenge is to get a friend to let you shoot them in the foot with a revolver, this will down them. You can then revive them and repeat the process. Make sure you return the favour!

POSSE INFIGHTING COMPLETED – Join a posse and have the posse leader start posse infighting via the Posse Versus Menu
