Starting in New Austin today folks..
There is a fair bit of travelling and PvP today. We will start in New Austin, travel up to Wapiti then down to Lemoyne before tackling the PvP.
Shop Visit and Belt Buckle
Visit the General Store in Tumbleweed. You can use the wardrobe at the back of the store to swap out your belt buckle. This is a nice way to quickly complete two of the challenges. When you have completed them both, head to the Fast Travel post.
Alaskan Ginseng Picked
Chez Porter is the go to Place for Alaskan Ginseng. The easiest way to get there is to fast travel to Wapiti then take the road past Cotorra Springs and on your right, just after Whinyard Strait you will see a farmstead. This is Chez Porter. There is a water tower and at the foot of the tower is a patch of Alaskan Ginseng. This is the only place you will find more than one plant in the same place. Pick the five needed for the challenge. This can be buggy so sometimes you will not need to pick all five for the challenge to register, sometimes you need to switch sessions to get them all to count.
Animals Killed with a Knife
Once you have picked all the Alaskan Ginseng you need for the challenge, head back to Wapiti and Fast Travel to Legras. The mud flats of Bluewater Marsh are full of toads, bullfrogs and turtles, all of which are easily killed with your knife. Get the five kills needed for the challenge.
Finishing off
All that’s left to do then is the PvP. Equip your Bow before joining a PvP focused Free Roam event. The schedule can be found here. Then join an Elimination Showdown and try to place in the top three with multiple kills in 5 seconds.

5 ALASKAN GINSENG PICKED – Alaskan Ginseng can be found in Ambarino and Northern West Elizabeth. They grow in forests and are usually on their own. There is a farm near Window Rock that has loads of plants. Just check near the tower.
5 ANIMALS KILLED WITH A KNIFE – You can mercy kill wounded animals with your knife, rope them and kill them with your knife, or just find small, slow animals, equip your knife and use melee to kill them. Toads, Turkeys and Chickens are good targets.
1 BELT BUCKLE UPDATED – Head to a wardrobe and change your belt buckle. Wardrobes can be found at Tailors, in the back of General Stores and your Tent at camp. I’ve heard you can swap outfits on your horse if you have different buckles on them but never works for me.
MULTIPLE PLAYER KILLS IN 5 SECONDS IN SHOWDOWNS – Load into a Showdown series from the main or quick join menu. Try and kill 2 or more players in less than 5 seconds. You’ll need to be in the lobby before the match starts for these to count.
1 PLACE TOP 3 IN ELIMINATION SHOWDOWN – Load into an Elimination match either through the Quickjoin menu or the main menu. Play a match from lobby to lobby and try and place in the last 3. If you suck at PvP HIDE!
3 PLAYER KILLS WITH A PISTOL IN FREE ROAM EVENTS – Free Roam Events are every 45mins and you need to be in a free roam lobby when one is due to start to be invited. Equip your favorite pistol, join a PvP focussed event and get the kills. Remember, revolvers don’t count as pistols
VISITED A SHOP IN TUMBLEWEED – Simply head down to Tumbleweed in New Austin and go to one of the shops or the butchers. Easy Gold!
