Starting in New Hanover today folks..

The poor folks at Emerald ranch are going to get some trouble today. Head there to find sheep in the pen. Kill and skin them to get mutton. If you wait until after dark then you’re less likely to get the law after you.

Ride down towards Rhodes. On the way, check for campsites to defend. There is one to the southeast of Emerald Ranch, another in Bluewater Marsh and a third to the west of Southfield flats. Defend one if you find one.

Use one of the campfires north of Rhodes to cook the mutton. Make sure to pick up any seasoning herbs if you need them on the way.There are fires north of Southfield Flats, Mannock pond and to the east of the Fence.

Once the mutton is cooked, continue south towards Shady Belle. There are several cormorant spawns in the islands just to the west of the ruined manor. There are also spots all along the river from the railway line near Saint Denis to Braithwaite Manor. Find one, shoot it and pluck it to complete the challenge.

Hop into the river and take a swim. It should take around two full stamina rings to make the required distance so don’t stray too far from the shore. Once you get this distance, head into Bolger Glade for some Raccoon hunting. There will be plenty of them around, especially after nightfall. Shoot and skin two of them to complete the challenge. All that is left to do then is complete the Posse Vs and the Showdowns.

3 COOKED SEASONED MUTTON – You get mutton from sheep and rams. White hat you can hunt for Desert Rams in NA or there are Rams on the mountain slopes of Ambarino. Or black hat and go to Emerald Ranch at night. Head to a fire and season up that mutton and cook it.

1 CORMORANTS PLUCKED – Head to the Dakota River, just upstream from Bard’s Crossing or where the Lannahechee River meets Flat Iron lake, just south of Braithwaite Manor for Cormorants. Find one, shoot it and pluck it.

1 DEFEND A CAMPSITE – Dynamic events happen all over the map. Look for smoke and listen for gunshots. If you see some travellers (wagons circled) being attacked by bandits, go and save them! South of Tumbleweed and the grasslands west of Blackwater are my go to spots for these.

500 DISTANCE SWAM – Head to some water and start swimming. If you’re a lower level keep an eye on that stamina bar and keep close to the shore.

MULTIPLE PLAYER KILLS IN 5 SECONDS IN POSSE VERSES – Start or Join a Posse and have the leader start a Posse Verses mode such as Posse Infighting. Kill 2 or more players in 5 seconds to complete this one.

2 NORTH AMERICAN RACCOONS SKINNED – Raccoons can be found across Lemoyne, New Hanover and West Elizabeth. They are more common at night.

3 PLAYER KILLS FROM COVER IN SHOWDOWNS – Kill a player from behind cover in a showdown mode. Takeover and Shootout series are the most reliable for getting this one. Make sure you are in the lobby before the game starts for the kills to count
