Starting in New Hanover today folks..
We’ll start in Valentine for the challenges today. We can get the snacks at the saloon, visit the barber then ride up to Cumberland Forest for the Wintergreen Berries. Let’s get into it…
Valentine
Start in Valentine. Head to the saloon on the main strip. At the end of the bar furthest from the entrance there is a bowl of Almonds. Eat three handfuls of the almonds then visit the barber and change your hairstyle.
Wintergreen Berries
Ride up to Cumberland Forest. There are a couple of patches of Wintergreen Berries just under the ‘C’ on the map. There is another directly above the ‘U’, but it is up across the path and near the ridge. Hopefully that is all five plants but if not there is another spot just below the ‘B’ in Cumberland.
Enemies Knocked Out
I like to pick on lone travelers for this one. Lasso one off his horse and then release him. He’ll turn into a red dot on your map so you can charge him, tackle him then knock him out. Find five victims and get this one done with relative ease.
Finishing off
Drop down to the Dakota River and do some lure fishing. Then join and complete a couple of Free Roam Events. Then load into a Shootout and finish in the top three. That’ll do it for today…

3 COMPLIMENTARY SNACKS EATEN AT A SALOON – Snacks such as Almonds can be found on the bar at some saloons like the main one in Valentine and the saloon in Rhodes. The snacks in the bar at your Moonshine shack also count! Free snacks AND free Gold!
5 FISH CAUGHT WITH A LURE – Head to your favorite fishing spot, equip a lure or spinner and catch 5 fish. If you don’t have any spinners or lures, head to Legras and buy one from the bait shop. Check your lockbox too as they are often given as rewards.
2 FREE ROAM EVENTS PLAYED – Free Roam events happen every 45mins. Make sure you are in a free roam lobby when one is due to start to be invited. Simply just play 2 of them. Another time gated one but very simple.
1 HAIRSTYLE UPDATED – Visit a barbers and update your hairstyle. if you like your current style, make sure you remember the name of it and switch back!
5 NON-PLAYER ENEMIES KNOCKED OUT – Antagonise a lone rider out on the trail somewhere by lassoing them off their horse. Quickly put your lasso away, tackle them and beat them to knock them out.
PLACE TOP 3 IN A SHOOTOUT SHOWDOWN – Shootouts are a group of PvP game modes and can be accessed through the main or quick join menus. Load into the series and try and place in the top 3
5 WINTERGREEN BERRIES PICKED – Cumberland Forest is my go to spot for Wintergreen berries. Above the ‘U’ and above and below the ‘B’ on the map there are patches of berries.
